What a weekend of weather!!
Tremendous rain and wind over the weekend unfortunately led to the 8th round of the winter league to be cancelled. We have had 48mm of rain over the last 3 days which has led to West Cornwall having some rarely seen water features.
These pictures taken on Saturday morning show some of the resulting problems. Our Course Manager
Keith Kemp is trying very hard to maintain the course during these adverse conditions so has implemented some trolley bans. These bans will hopefully will be kept to a minimum, but please help him keep those bans away by keeping trolleys as far away from our greens as possible, and avoiding the obvious traffic patterns that appear on the course.
Let's hope the weather improves soon.
The Cornish Bowl match at St Enodoc on
Sunday, 7 February against St Mellion unfortunately finished 3-2 in St Mellions favor. The match was very close with
Ian Hanley and
Gary Cox loosing the deciding match on the 19th hole.
Well done to all the team players on getting through to the quarter finals.
