A wonderful sunny day was a great surprise for the ladies of West Cornwall to play their 15 hole 4 Ball Better Ball competition on Tuesday, 23 February.
With an excellent score of 41 points, 1st prize went to Ros Fox and Christine Marenah. In 2nd place were Gill Cattran and Vice Captain, Debbie Sedgeman, with 37 points, with Sue Olds and Maggie Hosking in 3rd place with 36 points.
Now that March is here, we're hoping to see a few more faces in and around the club. We're also expecting to see some dusty-looking gear, with tatty golf shoes and bags being two prime examples!
While the rain's been falling and golfers have been hiding away, your pro shop has been a busy place with new equipment arriving in store ready for the new season.
In the shoes market, we have some even sportier models hitting the shelves, as well as upgrades to popular existing models, plus one or two brand-new designs that really grab your attention. If your shoe bag is seeing light for the first time in a few months, and you don't like what you see, pop by the store.
Likewise, there are some fantastic new bags arriving in store right now. Granted, you may not find a new bag as exciting as a new driver, but a good bag is priceless if you want to keep your clubs well looked after. We've also seen demand for fully waterproof bags rise, recently, which is no surprise given the weather in the UK.
If you're coming out of hibernation, or have been meaning to upgrade that bag of yours anyway, come and find out what's new in the store or click here to take a look at some of the latest products.
Bag Trade In
Throughout the month of March we are holding a fantastic trade in offer with Callaway, Motocaddy, TaylorMade and Titleist where you can get either £30 OFF (Titleist bags), or £20 OFF (Callaway, Motocaddy and TaylorMade) a brand new bag when you trade in your old bag, regardless of its age, brand or condition.
This will be available throughout March while our stocks last, so make sure you trade in that old, weather-beaten bag, and get your hands on a brand new one!
Titleist 4 for 3 ball offerAs with last year, we are offering our brilliant pre season starter offer where you can buy 3 dozen Titleist Pro V1 balls and get a 4th dozen absolutely
FREE. If this wasn't enough, you can also get your own personalised message on your balls
