Junior Easter Scramble - Thursday, 7 April
Eight teams contested the Chocolate fuelled Junior Easter Scramble over 9 holes. Each team was Captained by a Guest Star, including: The President, The Captain, The Lady Captain, Wendy Inch, Charlie Evans, Gareth Evans, Simon Foster and Dean Tulley.
The team members were drawn at random from our 18, 9 and 5 hole groups.
In third place with a marvellous nett score of 30.1 were 'Foster's Fantastic Four' (Simon Foster, Rhys Hendra, Jo Haddy and Jack Woolcock); zooming into second place were 'Sedgeman's Spitfires' (Debbie Sedgeman, Casey Olds, Jonty Jenkin and Katie Nash) with a nett 29, and in first place, proving their name was no joke on a blustery day, were 'Tulley's Tornadoes' (Dean Tulley, Emily Jenkin and Tristan Woolcock) with a nett 27.5.
The match was followed by a presentation of Easter Egg prizes, organised by the Junior helpers.
The Overall Junior Winter League results and presentation were also announced. Prizes were donated by Jason and awarded as follows:
Low Handicap Category Winner: Tristan Barnes; second place: Cameron Thomas.
High handicap Category Winner: Bryn Evans; second place: Sam Easterbrook.
Many thanks to all those who helped to organise and take part in a very enjoyable day.
