Cornwall retain the Cornwall vs Rest of the World Trophy - Sunday, 15 January 2017

The annual match between Cornwall and The rest of the World (ROW) that was cancelled just before Christmas was played last Sunday. This fiercely fought competition was decided by 17 foursome's match play matches starting simultaneously with a shot gun start.

The ROW team started strongly with early match results showing a 5-1 lead, but the last few matches all went the other way with the final result being 10-7 in Cornwall's favour. After the matches a pasty was enjoyed by all the players. 

Well done Cornwall!


Ladies Results

On Tuesday, 20 December the ladies from West Cornwall played their Santa Special Greensomes (15 holes).

1st - Margaret Eddy & Sheryl Richardson - 35pts

On Tuesday, 27 December 18 ladies turned out to play in The Two Step (15 holes).

1st - Debbie Sedgeman, Jackie Pontefract & Gill Cattran - 56pts (C/B)
2nd - Jo Hodding, Helen Jones, & Judy Ryder 56pts.


The ladies were unable to play on Tuesday, 3 January as the course was closed due to frost.
