As you may know, our England International, Harry Hall heads of for Las Vegas on a scholarship, leaving on 18th August.
There is a scramble competition being held on Saturday, 15 August run by the junior section and the start sheet is published on the clubs website. There are still spaces available if you want to play.
In the evening, Phil Hall would like to give an open invitation to members to join Harry for a drink and some 'eats'. There will possibly be some entertainment provided by a resident DJ!
Lady Captains Day
Lady Captain's Day at West Cornwall Golf Club was held on 4th August. After some overnight and early morning rain it was a dry day with a strong SW wind. The Lady Captain watched the field of 50 ladies tee off from the 1st tee. The halfway house provided a welcome break with a Cornish cream tea and saffron buns which was enjoyed by everyone.
The presentation of prizes followed the golf.
The main prize winners were:-

Past Captain's Prize - D Sedgeman - 34 points Junior Prize - Casey Olds - 39 points 9 hole Stableford winner - J. Finney - 17 points
After the presentation, a meal was enjoyed by all to round off a very successful day.
