Tempus Leisure "Get Fit for Golf" offer 

As part of a pilot scheme, West Cornwall Golf Club has joined forces with Tempus Leisure to offer our Members exclusive offers with them, including 50% discount on Level 1 Breeze Fitness, discounted group sessions and discounted gym passes. Conversely we are offering Tempus Leisure members the chance of taking up temporary golf membership with a view to them hopefuly then taking up a membership with the Club. 

Matt Tucknott PGA will be organising some more of his popular "Get into Golf" sessions which will help the transition and introduction into our great sport and our fantastic golf club. 

Hopefully this initiative will be positive for our Members and also in attracting further members to the Club whilst building good community spirit within our local environment.

Cornwall County Junior Golf Development Academy 2016 

It is with great pleasure I can now formally open the newly restructured County Junior Golf Development Programme for 2016. Following a comprehensive review, the programme now has a new structure, objectives and emphasis, which will hopefully build upon the results of the previous years whilst delivering a new level in junior development within Cornwall. There will be some new top class professionals joining the development team who will bring their experience as PGA tour players to the programme and to the juniors whom they will be mentoring and developing into even better players themselves. The sessions take place once a month from January 2016 until June 2016. 

Applications are now being taken for the programme, so if you feel you would like to apply to be part of the programme and are a keen golfer (boy or girl) under 18 years of age as at 1st January 2016, who has real ambition, commitment and determination to succeed, please do so straight away. The juniors will be selected on a range of criteria and will be notified whether they have been successful in securing a space within the academy, and which group they have been allocated by Monday the 16th November.
