The monthly stableford and Stableford Winners' Cup were played on Tuesday, 13 October by the Ladies at West Cornwall Gold Club.
It was a lovely sunny day for the competitions which was reflected in the scoring. There were 8 Ladies eligible to play for the Stableford Winners' Cup which was won by Gill Embley on 36 points.
In the stableford competition 1st place in division 1 went to Ros Fox on 40 points followed by Sue Olds with 39 points and Christine Matthews on 38 points.
In division 2 the winner, with 40 points, was Felicity Chiddicks: in 2nd place was Anne Evans on 36 points and Vivienne Rowe with 35 points.
Daily Mail Foursomes
What started out as a cold and breezy day turned into a lovely autumn day for the Ladies of West Cornwall to play their Daily Mail Foursomes stableford competition on Tuesday, 20 October.
The winners were Wendy Inch and Helen Dugdale with an excellent 42 points. As winners they now qualify to play in the national knockout competition and play winners from other clubs in Cornwall.

Hayle Cup - Thursday, 1 October
18 pairs of West Cornwall Seniors battled for the Hayle Cup on 1 October. In a 4BBB Stableford competition scoring from the leading pairs proved to be a close run thing, but just winning by one point were David Phillips and Terry England.
Prize winners were:-
1st - David Phillips & Terry England - 42 points 2nd - Robin Smith & Bennett Stevens - 41 points 3rd - Barrie Higgins & Howard Green - 41 points - losing on back nine.
27 handicapper Brian Humphrys had the only "2" on the day on the 5th hole and shared £70.00 worth of golf balls with his playing partners.
